Spots are limited and fill quickly, so we encourage families to reach out early to check availability and get the process started.

Bright Bears Child Care serves infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school-age children in a licensed, play-based in-home daycare setting in San Jose’s East Side. We are the right fit for families who value:

How to Enroll

Step 1 — Reach Out

Contact us by phone or email to introduce yourself, ask any initial questions, and check current availability. We’ll let you know right away whether we have an open spot that matches your child’s age group and your scheduling needs.

Step 2 — Schedule a Tour

We invite all prospective families to visit Bright Bears before enrolling. Come meet the team, see the space, and get a feel for the environment your child will be spending their days in. Tours are by appointment only and take about 30 minutes.

Step 3 — Complete Registration

Once you’re ready to move forward, we’ll provide you with all required registration paperwork. This includes enrollment forms, emergency contact information, health and immunization records, and any relevant developmental or medical information we should be aware of.

Step 4 — Welcome to the Family

After paperwork is complete and your deposit is received, your child’s spot is officially secured. We’ll walk you through everything you need to know before their first day — from drop-off procedures to what to pack so you and your child feel confident and excited from day one.

What to Bring on the First Day

Every child is different, so we’ll go over your family’s specific needs during the tour and intake process. Generally, families should plan to bring:

A change of clothes
Diapers and wipes if applicable
Any comfort items your child needs
Completed health and authorization forms
Labeled personal belongings

We provide fresh meals and snacks daily, so no lunch box is needed.

Tuition & Rates

Tuition is based on the enrollment schedule and the age of your child. We offer flexible scheduling options to accommodate working families. Contact us directly for current rates and availability — we are happy to walk you through all options and find a plan that works for your family.

Referral Program

Already know a Bright Bears family? Ask them about our referral program. When you enroll and are referred by a current family, both you and your referring family receive 10% off the following month’s tuition. It’s our way of saying thank you to the community that makes Bright Bears what it is.

They can get messy sometimes but the kids love the fun. My second daughter was born with cleft lip and palate and has significant developmental delays but everyone there loves her.
